WELCOME TO EAGLE
Eagle, originally a ranching community, is now a small, vibrant Colorado town with restaurants, shops, business services, a grocery store, and much more. Located 24 miles west of Vail and 15 miles from Beaver Creek, Eagle is the County seat. The “old downtown” street system has remained much the same since the pioneer days of Eagle County, which has a rich western history.
The neighborhoods comprising the Town of Eagle include Old Downtown, Eagle Ranch, the Bluffs at Eagle, the Terrace, Bull Pasture, and Eby Creek Mesa. In Eagle, you will find new custom single-family homes, historic homes, townhomes, condominiums, and a few ranch estate properties.
With lower elevation, warmer year-round temperatures, and an extensive network of hiking and miles of mountain biking trails, Eagle is where residents live the outdoor lifestyle they love. Eagle has several parks, the Eagle Ranch public golf course and a private golf course at Frost Creek, Fairgrounds, an outdoor riding arena, recreation paths, a pool, an ice rink, sports fields, mountain bike and horse trails, and a water park on the Eagle River. Summer is a time for free concerts in the park, outdoor yoga, parades, farmers markets, sports festivals, Eagle Flight Days, and the Eagle County Fair and Rodeo.
Eagle is 30 minutes from the World Class Vail Ski Resort and 20 minutes from Beaver Creek Resort. The
Eagle County Regional Airport serves to bring owners and guests to the Vail Valley all year.
