WELCOME TO Cordillera
Cordillera is one of the Vail area’s premier gated communities with over 7,000 acres spread across four neighborhoods: the Divide, Ranch, Summit, and the Valley Club. Located on both the north and south sides of Edwards, it is known for the three championship world-class golf courses designed by Jack Nicklaus, Tom Fazio, and Colorado native Hale Irwin. The Valley Course, The Mountain Course, and The Summit Course, plus a short, all offer unique characteristics and challenges. Each golf course features its own award-winning Clubhouse.
Cordillera is accented by picturesque views of valleys and mountain peaks, home to wildlife herds, and is a mountain-lovers paradise surrounded by thousands of acres of the White River National Forest.
Homes in Cordillera offer unparalleled mountain views, large lots, and the opportunity for adventure and exploring nature out the door. The Cordillera Valley Club is lower in elevation with southern exposure than the others in Cordillera, making it possible to ski in the morning and play golf in the afternoon.
Cordillera Valley Club real estate offers owners the privacy of their gated mountain community while still having access to Cordillera's benefits and amenities. This neighborhood is also only a short distance from the town of Edwards, where shops, dining, and a movie theater are just a few minutes down the road.
In winter, owners can access groomed Nordic trails, rent snowshoes, or take a horse-drawn sleigh ride with dinner provided. Friday through Sunday, there is a free shuttle from the Cordillera Post Office to Vail and Beaver Creek to take advantage of the world-class skiing nearby.
Summertime is perfect for golf, hiking, tennis, pickleball, swimming, and working out in the new fitness facility.
Cordillera has five ponds accessible for fishing. Each pond is stocked with brown and rainbow trout every spring. Vail Valley Anglers oversees stocking and maintains the ponds' and inhabitants' health. Fishable ponds are available to all Cordillera property owners and their guests.
Cordillera property owners have access to 1.3 miles of private river heaven along the Eagle River, where they can fish year-round in pristine water abundant with rainbow and brown trout. The river parcel also features walking paths with benches.
The Cordillera Equestrian Center boards up to 48 horses, has three indoor/outdoor riding arenas, outdoor living paddocks, and training facilities, and offers lessons from experienced trainers. The Cordillera Metro District and the Bearcat Stables have partnered with Indian Summer Outfitters to provide day rides or extended adventures into the backcountry, including trips from Vail to Aspen.
Enjoy a delicious meal and a stunning view at any of the three Cordillera restaurants: The Chaparral at the Valley Golf Course, the Timber Hearth at the Mountain Course, and the Summit at the Summit Course.
